Hi everyone

Last week New Zealand moved to Level 1 of the Covid-19 alert system. This is great news and a huge achievement by the NZ people. We were always going to do something as a festival, but this move, along with confirmation from a few key people that we can operate close to business as usual, means we are now working on detailed planning.

There will be some changes from recent festivals but at this stage, and provided we keep our country Covid-19 safe, we can confirm:

• Wellyfest will happen at Labour weekend
• … at Brookfield Outdoor Education Centre as usual
• There will be great guests
• … and camping and catering

Other details are still work in progress. If you’re hanging out to see the guest list (or have applied to be a guest), please bear with us a little while longer as we work through who and how many we will design the programme around. We had put this process on hold until now when we have clarity on the restrictions that apply.
