Goodland Trio have been playing together since 2009. They are Hanna Wiskari Griffits, Jonathan Larsson, and Oskar Reuter. Their repertoire is mainly original tunes, composed by the members of the group, with a distinct Nordic sound. With soprano saxophone, accordion and guitar, Goodland Trio plays polskas, waltzes and other common Swedish types of tunes. The arrangements weaves between the traditional and the contemporary, with influences of pop and improvised music. The members of the trio include a wide and versatile competence in Swedish folk and in world music. Each member has studied the Swedish fiddle tradition thoroughly for themselves and this characterizes their way of composing and performing. The music can be described as bright, playful and accessible.
