Wellington Folk Festival is slated to host the exclusive launch of Nigel Parry’s long awaited second studio CD, his first in eight years.

Steeped in the story telling folk tradition, award winning songwriter Nigel will weave a journey through songs of love, loss, and life of common folk; some about Kiwi people and places, many already becoming popular. Nigel calls it soulful folkiwi music.

He has been joined in the studio by a raft of talented musicians, many of them well known in New Zealand’s music community; you’ll see some very welcome and familiar faces on the stage too.

In fact, Wellington Folk Festival will be the only place you’ll see (and hear) such a stellar lineup performing these beautiful poetic songs.
