We have fantastic news to share about the last of our overseas guests! Doyenne of the Irish harp, Máire Ní Chathasaigh, will be with us, along with her long time musical partner and collaborator, Chris Newman. Described as “Virtuosic, fascinating, dramatic, original, inspired, gloriously adventurous, dazzling, brilliant, stunning, impassioned, electrifying, bewitching, moving, achingly beautiful, influential, revered, unique…” They play harp and guitar to die for.

• Donna Dean – a woman, her guitar and honest stories to share
• OrigiNZ – Celtic/New Zealand fusion, with bagpipes
• Downunderdogs – true Americana, now based in Wellington
• Vic Folk – the rise and rise of traditional music and dance in the university
