Lost property

Every year we get a selection of bits and pieces that are left behind at the site.

Here’s this year’s lot:

Child’s bike – small and pink.  If this is yours, please contact Brookfield Scout Camp.

The committee has these items.

Grey fleece jacket with yellow trim
Plain black peaked cap
Woman’s black merino long-sleeved top
Pale green synthetic hoodie with red stripes on hoodie lining
Brown beanie
Black pashmina/shawl
Man’s green fleecy from Hunting & Fishing
Blue-flecked crocheted beanie
Man’s dark blue lined fleecy jacket – two items in pockets
Woman’s black squashable hat
Tortoiseshell sunnies
Blue synthetic beanie with self brim

If any of these are yours, contact us via info@wellingtonfolkfestival.org.nz and we’ll pass on the name and phone number of the person holding them.

All items not claimed by end January 2017 will be donated to charity.

What a great festival!

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped to make such a wonderful weekend – guests, crew and attendees alike.

We had a great time – for those of you who didn’t make it, or were only able to join us for a short while, it was a fabulous festival.  The weather gods were kind (despite the soggy Friday) and the music was spectacular – great performances from RhodeWorks, The Goodland Trio, The Remarkables and all the other guests.

See Stuff’s story for some photos and a video here.

The Committee

We’re out at the Festival

The set up team is out at the site from this morning, preparing for yet another wonderful Festival.

If you’d like to come and join in, the gate opens Friday at 3.00pm – access earlier is for crew only.

Gate sales – for the weekend, a day, an evening or part of a day, will be available all weekend.  Cash only as we have no EFTPOS access on site.  Ticket prices here.

We’ll occasionally be posting to our Facebook page over the weekend, but are not able to respond to emails.

See you at Wellyfest!

Online bookings have closed

We have closed off all online bookings for the 2016 Festival so we can pack up the tickets.

However, weekend tickets and day tickets will still be available at the gate – we don’t ever run out.  Check the programme here to find out when you want to come out and join us.

Please note that the gate can only take CASH only – we do not have the capacity to handle EFTPOS or credit cards.

The gate opens from 3pm on Friday, 21 October: the programme starts at 6.30pm.

See you at the Festival!

Early bird bookings have closed …

…  but you can still buy your tickets online until 16 October.  There are even a few Monday Masterclass tickets and some bunks left – be in quick for these as numbers are limited, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Take advantage of the ability to pay by credit card or e-banking so you don’t have to bring cash to the gate (there is no credit card or EFTPOS on site).

Family day/evening discount packages are available for Saturday and Sunday as well – only available online.

See here for more information.
