The Wellington Folk Festival started out in 1965 which makes the 2014 Festival our 50th anniversary. That’s quite a history, and we want to celebrate.

So we’re planning something a bit special – something which acknowledges where we have come from but also looks forward to the future of folk music in New Zealand. And something that will be fabulous.
